Check-in time is at 12:00 PM, and check-out time is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

Children of all ages are welcome at Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp. We offer family-friendly accommodations and a range of activities suitable for younger guests.

Types of Tents
Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp offers 6 twin/double and 2 family tents. Each tent is designed to provide maximum comfort while seamlessly blending with its natural surroundings.

Family-Friendly Options
Our family tents can accommodate up to 5 guests, providing ample space and comfort for families.

Private Bathrooms
All tents have  en-suite bathrooms with private verandas.

Room Amenities
Each tent includes comfortable twin or double beds, a private veranda and a drinking water dispenser. 

Air Conditioning and Heating
While we do not have air conditioning, our tents are designed for natural ventilation and have fans to keep you cool.

Dining Options
We offer full-board dining with all meals included. Guests can enjoy buffet and plated service in our dining area; private dining is available upon request.

Special Dietary Requirements
We cater to various dietary needs. Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance.

Bar Services
Our bar offers a selection of local branded beverages, including soft drinks, local beers, selected spirits, and house wines.

We recommend consulting your healthcare provider regarding vaccinations and other health precautions before traveling to Kenya.

On-Site Medical Assistance
First aid kits are available, and our staff is trained in basic first aid. Transport to the nearest medical facility can be arranged for serious medical emergencies.

Wildlife Interaction Safety Measures
Our guides are trained to ensure safe interactions with wildlife. Always follow their instructions and maintain a safe distance from animals.

Directions to the Camp
Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp is located in the Lumo Conservancy, Tsavo. Detailed directions will be provided upon booking.

Airstrip and Train Station Transfer Services
Transfers from the local airstrip (Taita Hills Airstrip) are available, and the transfer time is approximately 40 minutes. We also offer transfers from Voi SGR station, which takes about 1 hour.

Nearest Airport Information
The nearest major airport is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. From there, guests can transfer to Wilson Airport and take a domestic flight to Taita Hills Airstrip, 40 minutes from the lodge.

Parking Availability
Parking is available for guests who choose to drive to the camp.

Suggested Packing List
We recommend packing comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, a camera extra batteries and memory cards

Laundry services are available at an additional charge.

Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the Tsavo region is during the dry season, from June to October and January to March. However, the region offers excellent wildlife viewing year-round.

Accepted Payment Methods
For your convenience, we operate cashless. We accept Mastercard and Visa. Unfortunately, American Express is not accepted. 

Booking Modifications
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make any changes to your booking. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Facilities for Photographers
Soroi Cheetah Tented Camp has a professional photographic hide for wildlife photography enthusiasts located at the bottom of the hill.

Recommended Tipping for Guides
Tipping your safari guide at the end of your stay is customary. A typical tip ranges from $10 to $20 per person daily.

Tipping for Camp Staff
Tipping the camp staff is also appreciated. We recommend leaving a tip of $5 to $10 per person per day, which can be placed in the communal tip box at reception.
