We were just in love with Mara Bush Camp. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The staff was lovely and accommodating, ensuring all of our needs were met. From evenings at the campfire, exchanging stories with our fellow guests and the camp manager (who was so welcoming and nice) to the excellent food that was provided, everything was just perfect.

On our special request, they even did an “African” night, with lots of local dishes (with some of the ingredients even grown in the camp area). The camp is located within the bushes of Maasai Mara, right next to a river (home of some Hippos that you could see in the evening), which just adds to the cozy feeling of being surrounded by nature.

We were very impressed with the quality of the impeccable service and professionalism that accommodates this five-star boutique lodge. It is where African chic meets Boho style, with a lot of attention paid to the taste of the select furniture in the rooms, the impressive four-poster bed, the exquisite bathroom with a panorama window and also an outdoor shower, and the views over the Tsavo plains.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful, with lots of love to detail, even the minibar. Dinning in the main restaurant was a gourmet treat for the palate, from starters, to main to desert, with dietary adaptions offered by the chef cook personally if required, select wines and top notch alcoholic beverages options are offered, we were in bliss.

This was one of the best places we have ever visited. You are in the peak of nature, surrounded by the most beautiful sounds and views. The wildlife was the highlight and one of a kind. The staff and service were amazing! We will miss them and hope to be back soon!

Want to switch off? Want to escape your daily worries and enjoy what African nature has to offer? Then, a stay at Cheetah Tented Camp in Tsavo is highly recommended. Each tent is fully equipped and has a breathtaking view of the Kenyan wilderness. From your own terrace you can witness the wildlife that passes by.

All game drives were unique adventures accompanied by professional guides. The guides, Benjamin and Oliver, answered all my questions. It was a joy to travel with them through the wilderness. Also, a big compliment to the chef, who always managed to surprise with a varied menu.

What a magical stay. The food and service is absolutely 5-star!

I expected 5-star food but this still exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, and they had hot Water! Being right next to a hippo pool was the finishing touch to this magical place. Joel was exceptional as manager and Pose took very good care of us! Will definitely come back. Best value for your money.

They say when you come to Africa, you feel the origin of mankind, you feel the true spirit, you feel rooted.

Entering this boutique Lodge on the bluff, with breathtaking views and stunning vistas of the Tsavo plains, undulating to the Kilimanjaro, the green savannah with shadow games of clouds amongst the plains, is a phenomenal site. It is absolutely wonderful and charming to be greeted at arrival by your game driver and then greeted at the reception by a very friendly crew that powers the Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge. During the entire stay at this spectacular location, everyone was heartwarming and welcoming.

As we entered the Lodge, what struck us the most was the serenity, the peace and quietness; it gives your soul freedom and tranquillity.

It’s always tricky to know if a place will live up to its billing and be worth the expense.

The experience at Mara Bush Camp was honestly priceless. From the unparalleled setting next to a hippo pool to accommodations that were elegant beyond words, amazing meals, and service at every step, my husband and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The manager approached us at every meal to ask if he could enhance our stay in any way. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I give my absolute highest recommendation.

My husband and I had an incredible three-night stay here. From Morris x2 and Jackie, who helped us feel welcome, to the chef, Joram and Safari, who made every meal feel special (even accommodating a special request for a local meal), and the rest of the staff, who enhanced our entire experience.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Serengeti right after, and while the service was good, it didn’t compare to LMC, where everyone knew our name and preferences. The rooms were comfortable, and the environment made us feel one with the Maasai Mara. Right next to the rooms, you can find hippos and crocodiles. Close to the camp, we spotted giraffes and cheetahs.
