Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in time is at 12:00 PM, and check-out time is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

Our staff speaks English and Swahili to cater to our guests’ needs and ensure a comfortable stay.

02. Accommodation
Types of Suites
Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge offers 10 luxury suites and 2 family units. Each suite is designed to provide maximum comfort while seamlessly blending with its natural surroundings. Three of the suites include an additional single bed, making them ideal for small families or friends travelling together.Â
Family-Friendly Options
Our family units can accommodate up to 4 guests, providing ample space and comfort for families. Each family unit has a King en-suite and a Twin en-suite room.
Private Bathrooms
All suites feature en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, bespoke organic soaps, and care products.
Room Amenities
Each suite includes a king-size bed with feather duvets, a mini-fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, safe, hair dryer, a filtered water station, a workstation, and a panoramic outside deck with seating.
Air Conditioning
Our suites are equipped with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable stay, along with design features that take advantage of natural ventilation.

We offer full-board dining with all meals included. Guests can enjoy plated service in our dining area, and private dining is available upon request.

Health Precautions Before Arrival
We recommend consulting your healthcare provider regarding vaccinations and other health precautions before traveling to Kenya.
On-Site Medical Assistance
First aid kits are available, and our staff is trained in basic first aid. For serious medical emergencies, transport to the nearest medical facility can be arranged.
Wildlife Interaction Safety Measures
Our guides are trained to ensure safe interactions with wildlife. Always follow their instructions and maintain a safe distance from animals.
06. Travel & Transfers
Directions to the Lodge
Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge is located in the Lumo Conservancy, Tsavo. Detailed directions will be provided upon booking.
Airstrip and Train Station Transfer Services
Transfers from the local airstrip (Taita Hills Airstrip) are available, and the transfer time is approximately 40 minutes. We also offer transfers from Voi SGR station, which takes about 1 hour.Â
Nearest Airport Information
The nearest major airport is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. From there, guests can transfer to Wilson Airport and take a domestic flight to Taita Hills Airstrip, 40 minutes from the lodge.
Parking Availability
Parking is available for guests who choose to drive to the lodge.

Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the Tsavo region is during the dry season, from June to October and January to March.

11. Tipping Guidelines
Recommended Tipping for Guides
It is customary to tip your safari guide at the end of your stay. A typical tip ranges from $10 to $20 per person per day.
Tipping for Camp Staff
Tipping the camp staff is also appreciated. We recommend leaving a tip of $5 to $10 per person per day, which can be placed in the communal tip box at reception. Notes dated prior to 2006 are not accepted in Kenya.
